B. Job Details
Job Responsibilities
– Consulting and Capacity Assessment: Advising on the evaluation of the capacity of design consulting contractors (TK). Proposing criteria for evaluating capacity according to specific design requirements.
– Design Management: Preparing and submitting design requirements for approval for specific projects. Providing design solutions, giving feedback on designs according to current national standards/regulations. Evaluating solutions, giving feedback on the use of materials and design for each item of the project.
– Acceptance and Supervision: Managing and participating in technical acceptance, phase acceptance, and completion acceptance of design documents, ensuring documents are ready for settlement. Performing checks on contract settlement documents for design consulting contractors (if any). Participating in author’s supervision, checking, reviewing, and updating the legal basis for design documents.
– Contract & Budget Control: Monitoring Design Consulting Contracts (HĐ tư vấn TK), evaluating quality, implementation time, and efficiency of each completed contract. Controlling progress and quality against the contract. Controlling the design against the approved total investment.
– Work Coordination: Coordinating to resolve issues arising in design during construction. Coordinating with other professional departments to ensure requirements on progress and accuracy of documents.
– Reporting and Proposals: Proposing design/structural solutions that save costs while ensuring quality for the project. Completing other assigned tasks by the direct manager.
Job Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture (full-time, accredited university program).
Experience
– Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably in infrastructure and transportation projects.
– Prior experience working on government-funded projects is a strong advantage.
Skills
- Strong command of English in both general communication and technical terminology.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
