A.  Position Overview:

The SENIOR LEGAL EXPERT plays a pivotal role in formulating, managing, and overseeing the company’s legal operations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations while safeguarding the company’s legitimate rights and interests. This position advises the Board of Directors and Executive Management on legal matters related to corporate governance, real estate investment, and business operations; leads the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts; manages dispute resolution and anticipates potential legal risks. In addition, the role is responsible for building and improving internal legal frameworks, developing the legal team, and maintaining strong relationships with government authorities and strategic partners, thereby ensuring sustainable, transparent, and legally secure operations for the company.
B. Recruitment Details :

I. Responsibilities

Task 1: Strategic planning and management of legal operations

  • Develop the company’s overall legal strategy; manage and supervise all activities of the Legal Department.
  • Advise the Board of Directors/Executive Management on legal policies and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental KPIs and provide periodic reports.

Task 2: Legal advisory and consultation

  • Provide legal advice to Management, departments, and subsidiaries.
  • Review and comment on contracts, agreements, and project documents to ensure legal compliance.
  • Identify potential legal risks and propose preventive or corrective measures.

Task 3: Contract and dispute management

  • Lead the drafting, reviewing, and standardization of the company’s contracts, templates, and legal documents.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements and strategic partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Handle disputes and participate in litigation/arbitration when assigned to protect the company’s rights and interests.

Task 4: Policy development and compliance improvement

  • Build, review, and recommend updates to internal regulations, policies, and procedures in line with legal requirements and business practices.
  • Guide, train, and raise awareness of legal compliance among company staff.

Task 5: External relations and risk management

  • Establish and maintain relationships with government authorities, industry associations, and external partners.
  • Identify, assess, and manage legal risks in business operations and investment projects.

II. Job Requirements

a. Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
  • Lawyer practicing certificate is required.
  • Lawyer card and registration with the Bar Association are preferred.

b. Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of civil, labor, commercial, corporate, and investment laws (domestic and international).
  • In-depth understanding of corporate and real estate legal practices.

c. Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, with at least 3 years in a managerial position in corporate legal affairs at real estate or commercial corporations.

d. Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to anticipate legal risks, analyze and resolve legal issues effectively.
  • Good command of English communication and legal terminology.

e. Others:

  • High ethical standards, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in collaboration with others.
