[CITYLAND] Senior Quantity Surveyor – Estimation & Cost Control

A. Position Overview

The Senior Quantity Surveyor – Estimation & Cost Control is responsible for overseeing project quantities, cost estimates, and budgets. This role provides technical consultation, evaluates the capabilities of design consultants, manages payment and settlement documents, and develops professional processes. The position ensures project progress, quality, and financial efficiency in line with the requirements of the Design Management Division.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and propose innovative solutions.
• Assess and evaluate the capacity of design consultants.
• Review cost estimates from design consultants, prepare preliminary estimates, and monitor project budgets.
• Advise on project quantities and quality across tender packages and projects.
• Develop and manage plans for quantity control of tender packages.
• Conduct acceptance, prepare payment documents with consultants, and perform final settlement with design contractors.
• Control payment documents with suppliers and consultants, ensuring payment schedules are aligned.
• Issue and archive design and estimation documents internally.
• Monitor department budgets, project progress, and quality against contracts.
• Propose evaluation standards for consultant capabilities and prepare reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil & Industrial Construction or related fields.
• Experience: Over 10 years of experience in a similar role within large-scale infrastructure projects. Preference for candidates with experience in government-funded infrastructure projects.
• Strong English communication skills are an advantage.
• Confident, dynamic, and proactive personality.
