CITYLAND_ SENIOR PROJECT LEGAL SPECIALIST
A. Position Overview:
The Senior Project Legal Specialist is responsible for ensuring legal compliance throughout the entire lifecycle of investment and construction projects — from the initial legal documentation to final handover. This role requires in-depth knowledge of land, construction, and planning laws, as well as relevant regulations. The specialist must also be capable of effectively working with government authorities to secure project progress and legal integrity.
B. Recruiment Details :
I. Job description:
- Implement assigned project legal tasks according to the approved timeline
- Prepare project-related legal documents, procedures, and certificates
- Contact authorities, consultants, and contractors to receive, submit, and supplement project documentation
- Provide legal documents related to the projects in charge to other departments upon request
- Build working relationships with government agencies to ensure high efficiency and quality; timely report, propose, and recommend to direct supervisors
- Coordinate or directly participate in working with inspection teams regarding project legal and construction-related matters
- Handle tasks related to land valuation and determination of financial obligations for the project
- Carry out tasks and prepare documents related to site clearance and compensation
- Prepare documentation for acceptance and handover of projects for operation
- Collaborate with relevant departments to monitor and compile the legal process of each project
- Coordinate with relevant departments to prepare and implement procedures for issuing and handing over ownership certificates for the project
- Prepare and manage documents related to the department’s budget
- Develop, monitor, report, and evaluate monthly/quarterly/annual KPIs of the department
- Prepare professional work reports for direct supervisors
II. Job Requirement:
1. Education – Major:
- Gender: Male/Female
- University degree or higher in Economic Law, Construction, Architecture,… or related majors
2. Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in legal project work at large-scale corporations/investor companies or real estate firms
- Preference given to candidates with strong relationships with government agencies
- Experience handling legal procedures for projects, from obtaining investment policy approval to completion and handover
- In-depth experience with public asset investment projects
3. Skill:
- Solid understanding of real estate project laws, planning, housing, land, and other legal regulations related to construction and real estate investment
- Up-to-date knowledge of new policy mechanisms and upcoming legal regulations; ability to work with government agencies on project documentation
- Deep understanding of document processing procedures at relevant governmental authorities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
