About the role 

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice Dean (Phú Quốc based) to join our academic leadership team at Hotel Academy Phu Quốc VET by EHL. The ideal candidate will have deep insights into the hospitality industry and a passion for education. This role requires a strategic mindset and strong leadership in admissions management, marketing, and academic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development by expanding industry partnerships and strengthening the academy’s market positioning.
• Lead admissions strategy to attract high-caliber students and ensure a seamless enrollment process.
• Oversee marketing initiatives, ensuring strong brand presence and engagement.
• Collaborate with EHL and industry partners to enhance curriculum relevance and student employability.
• Ensure academic excellence, fostering a dynamic and innovative learning environment.
• Support faculty and student development, providing leadership and mentorship.
• Assist the Board of Directors in strategic planning, policy formulation, and academic governance.
• Oversee curriculum development, quality assurance, and accreditation processes.
• Supervise faculty performance, research initiatives, and teaching quality.
• Manage academic operations including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• At least 2 years of experience serving as Vice Dean (or an equivalent senior academic leadership role).
• Minimum 7+ years of leadership experience in hospitality education, business development, or admissions management.
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English (both written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of hospitality industry trends and education best practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute marketing, recruitment, and partnership strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance academic integrity and commercial growth.
