CITYLAND CONDUCTS FIRE SAFETY TRAINING & EMERGENCY RESPONSE DRILL 2025

In today’s modern high-rise environment—where hundreds of electrical devices operate simultaneously and a single oversight can trigger serious consequences—fire safety knowledge is no longer the sole responsibility of security staff or building management. It is an essential competency for every CityLander, each of whom plays a direct role in creating a safe and sustainable workplace.

In 2025, CityLand Group continues its collaboration with the An Nhon Ward Police in Ho Chi Minh City to conduct a comprehensive fire safety training programme and emergency rescue drill. The initiative equips employees with the ability to respond swiftly in the critical first moments—the window of time that can determine the safety of an entire community.

Safety – The Foundation of a Professional Working Environment

At CityLand, safety is more than an operational requirement; it is the foundation upon which individuals are able to grow, innovate, and contribute with confidence. For this reason, our annual fire safety training is conducted with the guidance of the dedicated An Nhon Ward Police. Beyond legal compliance, the programme embodies CityLand’s spirit of preparedness and responsibility towards society.

Key Training Components for 2025

1. Identifying Fire Hazards in the Office Environment

Employees were guided to recognise potential risks—many of which stem from seemingly harmless daily habits such as:
– Using coffee machines,
– Charging phones overnight,
– Relying on extension cords,
– Leaving documents close to heat sources.

Correct identification leads to effective prevention.

2. Responding in the Crucial First Minutes

Specialised officers provided hands-on instruction on standard emergency procedures, including:
• Activating fire alarms and alert systems,
• Using fire extinguishers correctly,
• Cutting electrical power,
• Directing people calmly towards safe exit routes.

Realistic simulations enabled employees to memorise and master every step through immediate practice.

3. Evacuation and Rescue Drills Based on Scenario Modelling

From detecting smoke → activating alarms → guiding evacuation → deploying first-response equipment, participants engaged in the full emergency process. Throughout the drill, they strengthened:
• Composure,
• Team coordination,
• Situational judgement under pressure.

4. Skills to Protect Oneself, Colleagues, and Corporate Assets

Fire safety knowledge empowers employees not only to protect themselves but also to:
• Minimise operational and property risks,
• Safeguard colleagues,
• Foster a responsible and disciplined organisational culture.

Preparedness and Discipline: Cornerstones of a Successful Drill

This year’s training recorded remarkable participation from departments across CityLand. The collective sense of responsibility, readiness, and discipline contributed to a drill that was safe, efficient, and highly effective.

For CityLand, initiatives such as this reaffirm our enduring commitment:
“People at the centre – Safety above all.”

A professional workplace can only thrive when it is built on uncompromised safety.

CityLand – Where Every Member Is a Link in the Safety Chain

In fire prevention and emergency response, no one stands on the sidelines.
There are no “department-specific tasks”.

When every CityLander is well-prepared, each becomes a protective shield for the entire organisation. A culture of collective readiness makes CityLand:
• Safer.
• More professional.
• And more trusted—by employees, customers, and partners alike.

The Fire Safety and Rescue Training Programme 2025 once again demonstrates CityLand Group’s unwavering effort to establish a workplace that is exemplary, sustainable, and safe for all.

Because we believe: a team can only go far when every individual is protected—starting from the smallest of safeguards.
